Skip off your bicycles and leave them by the shore on this tiny, white-sand island. Enter the warm water. The dead, stony, coral beneath your feet is sharp. Painful. Tread carefully. Reach a slightly deeper area where you can swim. Slip on the mask and stick your face down to see what’s happening. Crikey.
A first time snorkeling. Who would have guessed? It’s simply amazing. You’re blown away by wonder. There’s so much to see. You’re a fish. It looks perfect above but it looks even more magical below.
There’s diving courses to be done round these parts. Let’s get to Gili Trawangan and go deep. Yeah man.
